Nice mustang!!! I really like the new style. What version is it? Do you know? I see the GT in the rear emblem, but is it a mach 1 or svt or gt only?

Regardless, sweet car. I love the rims.

Crap! I didn't notice!

I didn't think it looked stock. Is Roush just body stuff or engine/drivetrain upgrades as well like shelby or saleen?

It looked way to slick for stock. I've seen a few GT's and Mach1's on the road and never noticed the louvers on the rear windows, the extra ground effects, the way the pipes are coming through the rear bumper or the wheels.

Damn, Rousch is already modding the new mustang? Gotta wonder what all they've done to is so far? Does the new mustang come with a supercharger?

Not a real muscle car fan, but I really do love the new mustang, especially after seeing a drag racing video. "Lightly" modded mustang runing 11's...and a VERY lightly modded one doing 13's. Pretty impressive IMO.

PLUS, some japanese driver recently managed to get first place in a new mustang set up for drifting in Formula D competition.

Have you guys seen the new Ford Cobra Shelby GT500? It comes out in lae 2006 I believe and my dad has always been a stang fan but has never got one. Hes giving serious thought to this one...I am hoping he gets one, that car must be insane to drive.

The new GT500 will have the same engine as in the Ford GT, the 5.4L V-8, but the GT500 will have a Iron block and Al heads instead of all Al in the GT. They slapped a supercharger on the GT500 aswell so the thing puts out 475 HP, and 450 foot/lbs of torque. Which all adds up to 4.0 0-60 time and 12 quater miles. Best part, list price is right around $40,000. Talk about bang for your buck. I love mustangs...:D

I guess that means the Roush stangs are fast!!! :smoke:

How do Saleen mustangs compare to Rousch mustangs? When i still worked at a Toyota dealership, I had to move a saleen mustang and the clutch was SUPER stiff and I had a ton of trouble just using the clutch pedal.

you would have to do a search, i can't answer that for you, I'm a dubber not a mustang guy. just know what i have to, to stay informed about the competition ;)

It depends on which Roush, and which Saleen. Never been in either, but I know they make a stage 1, 2, and 3 Roush, and a Saleen 281, s281(supercharged), ans a S351 which these days is probably a 5.4 liter, and then I don't know about Rouch, but Saleen makes a supercar called the S7.

No offense to anyone but I think american cars are trash.

Only thing I like that comes out of america is Cadilac and a few others.

most are trash, the american manufactures way of building cars isnt in line with those of other countries. but they do have thier market, and fill that need well. sometimes our "go big or go home" attitude pays off, other times it doesn't. the japanese probibly build the most reliable, and the europeans seem to have the most charicter.

A car is only as good as the person that takes care of it. I personally, don't buy japanese cars. I won't support their economy for personal reasons. European cars are nice but the engineering changes often.

I prefer american. You get what you pay for, much like the r/c's we play with. Quality will cost ya and longevity depends on upkeep.
