I forgot to mention that was is for air, BUT, Futaba does make them for on-land. 75mhz. The ones used for battle-bots etc..

Yeah I noticed it said for heli and airplane use, but, doesn't really matter you know... I've run cars and trucks with these. (75mhz, never used PCM.)

Anyways, don't wanna drop a grand or 1.5 grand on a radio, so thats why I chose to go 7-8 channel used. lol.

You need a C5 in that car. Back in the 80's cars were made to be flying bricks. now a days everything is light an fast. Don't use your 8 port in there.

No dude, these are light as heck, even with todays .12s, they are QUICCKKKK. Like, terribly quick, REALLY fast. Most people just stay with the .12s in there because the .21s are just too much.

I never said a .12 was too powerful for my car, others have though. That's why I want to stick a moderate .21 in them... I want them to be driveable, unlike my NMT which will blow into pieces upon break in.

Well, just picked up some more stuff from another LHS, not my main one so I didn't get a deal .

Got a starter box, gell cell, charger for gell cell, and some 50,000WT diff fluid. That's about it. Total? meh, 180CAD. That brings me to 2860CAD for the conversion for now. Reason I didn't go to the usual LHS is because they are closed . Will probably go there Tuesday or something though, still have some cash left. Now owe my granny 580$ though :roll:

Well, another update... Got some more stuff.

lol.

This time:

2nd pipe, air filter elbows, some O-Rings, RTR 3 spider gears, and a 2 speed maintainance kit, for the E-Clips that I need for my 2 speed. All in all, a great day, had a giant bash too.

Total into the conversion: $2960CAD, and past the $4000CAD mark for the whole truck.

K, got my parts... lol. Attached the upper deck posts to the throttle/ brake servo, and attached the servo posts to the steering servo. Meshed the 2 CBs and spur together, that looks pretty hot. Put on the air filter elbows to the carbs and the filters. What else? Wanted to build up the diffs, but, I may use different outdrives, plus I need some larger O-Rings. What else? I think that is about it... Yep. Have a good day Soon another trip to the LHS, and another 450$ will be dropped, lol.
