No more creepy than keeping a urn of ashes of a loved one on the mantle. /shrug

I agree. at least this can't get knocked over and go poof! then your breathing in grandma LOL... I wonder if you can catch a buzz if you huff some G-Ma! LOL

LOL i want to see someone try to sell 1. For sale on ebay... This was my old wifes heart it was made into a diamond after she died in a car crash, my new wife says it has to go.

I like the colors. Urine yellow or turd brown.

$13,000 for one carat? If it's man made, it's cubic zirconium, worth about $10 when mass produced.
What makes diamonds worth their inflated price is the time it took nature to produce them plus the 4 Cs:
Color, Clarity, Carats and Cut.
In Grandma's last days, she didn't have good color, and her mental clarity was nill. She didn't like carrots, and was never much of a cut up at parties.
You should be able to deduct about 12 grand right there.

It's not as wierd as putting G-ma in a mason jar on the manlte. At least then G-ma is being put to some good use. Real diamonds are still worlds better though, evne though they don't have the senemential value of a G-ma diamond.
