I recently ran across a forum on another site about superchargers and intercoolers for rc cars. I was wondering what everyone on here though about the idea. Will it really work? I thought that that much air being forced into an rc engine would force it to overheat and sieze up? I guess what I am wondering is if this thing is for real or is someone just out there trying to make a cheap buck off rc car owners? I also read something about intercoolers being used on rc cars. If you have any information or comments they would be greatly appreciated.

hmnzz plz use the search button. you wil find loads. and all wil tell you it doesn't work and its a waste of money.

you can't effectively supercharge a rc engine.

supercharger work best at blowing motors up. I saw a kid waste his money on it. The motor becomes more finicky and dies easy. It witn worth it unless u drag race.

Yes but couldnt you effectively supercharge a 4 stroke rc engine?

yes, that's why I clarified. A blower is effective on a 4 stroker. Some 4 strokers come with superchargers already installed or even built into the block

It's too bad OS discontinued that 4 stroker for car applications. It was a 17,000 rpm 4 stroker... damn, that'd be bad ass with a blower eh?
