RC Driving Style
Looks like this may be true. I read this on another board,I will have to look into it!! Anyone else heard this?

i too heard about this from the guys at my lhs. i didn't belive them but i guess we will have to see what happens.

Saturday night, while speaking with full sponsored TTR driver that is also sponsered by AE, when we asked, he said he just plain out didn't know.

So if they did... is that a good or a bad thing? I'm getting a RC10GT this week so i don't know whats gonna happen.

I think it would be a good thing. I think the only, and I mean only problem would be for the AE drivers that are driveing kyosho, mugen, and all the other buggies besides the TTR.

I think it would be a good deal for the rest of us however.

i dont see why not. the associated MGT is actually made by thunder tiger already. so this would just be the next progression.

Well Thunder Tiger is coming up wo the 1/8th scale buggies and Associated is just a pioneer in RC's since I can remember. Two strong companies merging can only bring better things.IMHO! Regardless that the MGT is the MTA4 in europe its the MGT here and it kicks ass IME!!!

The MGT is made by thunder tiger and the mini 18t also, everyone should know that by now!

TT and AE have had a long time association. My first nitro was an RC10GT RTR about 4-5 years ago. And that came with an engine that was made by TT. Will this change things? Probably not. I would suspect they will still have their own product lines. Operate under their own letterheads. I wouldn't expect us as consumers to really see too much difference. Perhaps just a few more collaborations.

who know the thunder tiger name might actually be the one to go away in the RC car dept.....and TT would probably keep the name on the Planes and air side......associated does have a larger following in the ground vehicles than TT...at least here in the states....
