Trying my hand at a scaler

This is what my project started as and where it's at now. I started with an scx10 mud truck with no links and proline powerstroke xt shocks and ax10 axles. I swapped out the shocks to 90mm crawler shocks removed the lift plates and built custom links. Ended up with a shorter wheel base but fits the modified clodbuster body I got in a trade. Aling with the roller. Getting ready to order a transmission and a few other things tomorrow so that I will be a runner. I added an smt blower onto the hood and did some details to it. I'm definitely looking to make this a scale crawler when it's done.

Ok I lied. I got impatient and put it back together as a mud truck. I got my transmission and shock mounts in yesterday and I'm waiting for the new driveshafts but I was able to put a couple in that I had as spares. I originally used a cen motor from the f450 and an hpi brushed esc but it seemed to get a little warm quickly. I sacrificed the electronics out of my stampede 2wd which had a castle 5700kv motor 18 tooth pinion and a sc8 esc. Waiting on a battery to play with it and see what breaks

Those Centerline wheels with the Chevron tires works VERY well with the "square body" body! Vintage coolness!
