I have heard from Neil that both you guys got the Picco .28 over 2 hp? He gave up on the engine because no clutch would hold up to it!

It all in clutch setup etc. But this engine here put out a little more then the Picco .28s stock and after modifying.

Highest stock engine was a on road Picco P9R at 2.14HP. This is the highest stock .28 I have had on the dyno.

That dyno result was a mis-print. They have dynoed the engine in the .9 HP range in the past.

This is the highest dyno pull that I personally got on MY X-Dyno when I last dyno tested the TRX 3.3 STOCK with the Traxxas Resonator pipe.

Basically says their dyno results were 10% inflated after the July 08 issue and the web site now has the correct results.

Have you ever kept track of the engine that benefited most by modifying it? Like best peak HP or torque? Or smoothest up slope? Latest drop off?

Just curious.

Good question there. I keep track of many things about my engines as that is a nessesary part of my job. I can tell you the OS. 28 has the most TQ and HP of any engine .28 and the Vspec has been the highest off road .21 to date. Modified of course on regular EFRA off the shelf pipes and 30% nitro.
