The TTR EB4 S3 chassis was a milestone in metal chassis design but the racers soon discovered they would rather have a conventional chassis that was a bit "looser" so it could be adapted by various stiffening methods for each track condition. They discovered it was better to be a bit loose, and add hardware to stiffen it to the degree or where it was needed, than start stiff and try to decompensate.

No parts break, just handling was affected.
 
I think it was more driver's getting tired of the car bouncing around too much on sloppy tracks.....
 
You could buy the 50+ dollar mount, or you could just undo the two screws that hold your gas tank in place instead, and leave your motor where it sits.
