Not sure what the japanese HPI MT2 is... but the "normal" one is a 4 wheel drive 1/10 scale stadium truck.

Are you talking 1/10 scale truggy/buggy or 1/8 scale? I don't know many 1/10 scale truggies...

Throw up some photo's...

i was told by someone on this site it was the japanise version because the carb 's LSN is fixed (not adjustable)

Oh. The mugen appears to be an 1/8 scale buggy running an OS21RG engine with on-road slicks and the other just looks like a typical HPI MT2 with a stock HPI engine.

Truggies are typically longer and have a wider stance that is usually really noticeable between the inside of the rear wheel and the exhaust.

is ther some way i can start the mugan ? i don't have a bump box and don't really have the $$$ to by one .from what i have seen they are about 80 and up ,wife just had surgery and can't work for 2 months.so i would like to know if i could build a box or is there another way to start it?

i have a bunch of rc's and am trying to see what runs and what i need to get parts for

It appears that the engine has a PS backplate on it... but I could be mistaken. Is there a shaft sticking out of the engine underneath the exhaust header?

Your only choices are to redo the engine for pull start or get a bump box and whatever a bump box needs.

Didn't see those pics until I saved this post... what's that 1/5 scale you have? I'd be playing with that instead!

do you live in the uk

Thats an FG monster truck chassis. Most likely a 26cc Zenoah.
Big buck there mate. I just bought 2, (jeep and M/T) and here in Aus they were $2000 each. They are worth it though, as soon as you fork out another $700 for 4 wheel disc brakes.......
