i have a duratrax Nitro Evader and everything was going great, however now it won't move. The engine is revving, the clutch bell is spinning and the spur gear is going with that but no power to the rear wheels. Any ideas on what might be wrong?? Any and all help is welcome. thanks.

i just got my first stadium truck yesterday(have 2 monster trucks)
but i would guess you burnt out the tranny

Check to see if your tires are on tightly. If there loose they wont move.Other then that check your transmission or differentials if it even has diffs.

Thanks for the help guys, the way it looks I'll be pulling everything apart tomorrow and doing a rebuild...

For all those interested, I had my diff to tight and I melted through the gear...

:normal:

had a similair problem the other day, it turns out the rubber washer spacer in the dog bone cup (or what ever its called) fell out some how so the dog bone had fallen out on one end

My Evader stopped too

Actually finally got things going and after about 5 tanks, engine revs but nothing moving - figure its the dif gears - will let you know

also took out some teeth on the steering servo, broke front shock tower - tree still standing !

other than that - things are good LOL

Thats the same problem I just had, I was striping spur geaars thanks to the sloppy construction (thanks duratrax,) sowith some diff sized washers I managed to make the spur gear setup on Max ST alot better. Then it broke the next weakest link, the differential. Go to your local hobby shop and buy the steel diff gears. or youll keep blowing them.

You have to adjust you clutch, are you will keep burning it up. I'm shore there are some threads here somewere that can help. good luck and ceep on trucking
