Traxxas XRT with Hobbywing Max4/560kv combo

I'm kicking around the idea of going 12s with my 2nd XRT build. Wanted to ask what other options there are for this combo in an XRT for ESC and motor besides StupidRC mount?

you're going to lose a lot of RPMs so youd have to gear waaaaaaay up for it to overcome the rpm loss. Id try to find a 12s motor closer to 850kv if possible

Yeah, It was just a thought of going the Max4/560kv combo since I don't see many. I currently have the Max5G2/1100kv combo so I may just go with another Max5G2/800kv and run 12s off of that.

I run my Sledge on 8s so I'm with you on this one.
If you're looking for some Hobbywing alternatives Castle is the only real contender I can think of.
