Traxxas XL-5 HV Questions...

Hey ya'll, I was curious if putting an XL-5 HV in my Traxxas Bandit would be a good idea. Main reason being I have a TRX-4 Sport and it has a 2.5 hour runtime on a 4000 Mah Lipo. I figure if I stuck one in my Bandit it would increase the current 30 min runtime.

That will work if you drive the bandit at 5mph like the trx4

Yea the HV ESC can work with the 12T motor, but if you run that motor on 3s, it will get extremely hot and might wear out the motor fast.
Really won't increase run times, unless you go super slow like the trx4. Just like @Mrgoodwrench35 said
More mah means more capacity, so meaning more run time, usually, depending how you drive and the battery conditions.

Yeah. Definitely wouldn't be running it on 3s.
