Is this a good hop up? From the video I saw on the Traxxas site it looks like it would be a nice feature to have; 3 variable speed settings. Any thoughts on this?

I have a REVO 3.3 (3508) completely stock. So this would be my first hop up.

you have the nitro revo 3.3? if so you do not need a evx. those are used to control the motors on the electric revo. if you do have the e-revo it doesn't seem that one does anything more then the stock one that comes on the rig.

on second look, it seems the 10 only does one motor. if you have the e revo you have 2 motors.

Oh, I didn't realize this wasn't for Nitro engines.
