have you seen the NHRA drag races this weeks end, Traxxas has a lot of advertising. and pics of traxxas RCs. can you guess when moe went to his first drag race? but not racing.

no not heartland park. denver,,,,,,, samona......... they are getting to do what they call the western swing, no its not a dance. they race for a few races on the west coast.

iam not in love with john force. he is one of a few racers that,"think to highly of them selves." as you know i love drag racing. but not nascar.

With a Record like he has, he has every right to think highly of himself, i have met him several times at Bristol Dragway, he is really a nice guy.

I've been a huge John Force fan since i was 5. My dad would always take me to the southern nationals here in Ga and the gator nationals in Florida every year. I've met him several times and in 2006 i bought a hat and had him autograph it with a silver sharpie and it sits in my curio cabinet now with all my motorcycle collectibles. I remember watching Big daddy Don Garlits and Shirley Muldowny back in tha day also. Shirley was the first woman to race top fuel dragsters and had that pink paint scheme on it. I would love to get one of the traxxas castrol funny cars and have him sign it. Bet it would be worth a nice penny when hes gone. It would definitely be my shelf queen!!

yep when you have half the cars in the race its easy to win. sort of like buying the race.

racing cost

traxxas sure is putting a lot of money in this race scene (hope that don't mean prices will be going up)

It won't. Traxxas sells rc by the ton. I was talking to the owner of my lhs, and he said for every Slash he sell to a racer, he sells ten that he never sees again. The Traxxas off-road races that have rc race events don't allow any brand except Traxxas. I couldn't begin to count how many people I have talked to who don't even run RCs, but say "Oh yea, I have a T-mazz, I never use it, me and a buddy just thought it would be coold to play with on breaks."

TO: Zdragon71. yep i realy enjoyed hearing about you going to drag races. i realy love rag racing, and love hearing about drag racing. my first drag race was in 1955 greatbend ks. the first NHRA national drag races in the 60s my dad and i went to the tulsa world point finals. from 1966 to 1969.. got to see the Hemi Cudas when new. i talked to Ronnie Sox. ,Don Garlits.

Nice^^^ i have some great memories from growing up around drag racing. Used to sit in the floorboard on passenger side of my dads small block mustang coupe running low 11s capped up with street tires on it. He says i would be grinning from ear to ear the whole 1/4 mile! That was back in the early 70s. He had a 67 with a 289 small block pushing close to 500hp. I wish we still had it now!
