Traxxas slash 2wd brushed to brushless

Hello I was just wondering on my traxxas slash 2wd if it fits 550 and 540 motors? And what would be a good brushless motor esc combo that is not toooo expensive but will last

Another question. Would a 5000mah 8.4v 7-cell battery nimh battery work with the sidewinder sct combo esc. Sorry for asking so many questions I'm only 16 still trying to learn a lot more about rcs

Yes, the NiMH pack would work. You'll just need to turn off the low-voltage cutoff.

Yes, the Sidewinder 3 will work with the Slash. They even offer it in an SCT specific combo with a motor.
