i have a question about the traxxas waterproof 2056 servo(stock revo5309 throttle servo) is it a decent servo?. it sells $13 on ebay just wondering if its worth buying :-)

thanks

I don't know about the other brands, but the traxxas 2075 has 125oz of torque and a faster travel time, can't remember how fast right now

The HiTec HS-645MG is a good reasonably priced servo. I used the digital version (HS-5645MG) and had no problems.

The 2075 is for the steering, i think... i just gonna use it for the throttle. i think 80oz is fair enough..:)

i use the 2075 for throttle /break ...works great and it is a bit faster than the original 2056.... just one 2075 for the steering will work good to ...so you can always take one of your steering servos if you have problems

i am interested in making my revo a single steering hmmmm, did you convert or buy something to make it a single servo?

all you have to do is take one servo off ....and if you want , you can cut the arm off the bellcrank on that side ..but its not necessary ..i left mine on ( on both my revo's) ..just in case the other side ever breaks of or if i ever want to put dual servos again

some will say that you should put a stronger servo if you go to a single servo setup ...again , its a matter of choice ...i find that just one original 2075 works just fine

I run a 2070(just not water proof) as throttle and a single 2075 for steering. I had dual steering, a 2070 and a 2075, and a 2070 for throttle. The throttle broke, so I just moved the 2070 steering to throttle and I'll replace it with a 2075

just decided to go with 2 steering servo(2075) and 2075 for thrtle/brake, i kinda like the look of the revo with dual steering:D
