I just bought a brand new TQI 2.4Ghz 2 channel transmitter (#6513) and the TQi 2.4GHz (5-Channel) Receiver (#6518). I found a good deal on it ($45 shipped) and I bought it. But I neglected to think if it would even work until I had finalized the sale.

Anyways, I have a Nitro Stampede and it has the #2019 2 channel AM receiver that has the 3 pin plug (looks to be the same on the #6518 2.4Ghz receiver) for the batt and both channels. The #2019 uses 4AA batteries, is it the same for the #6518 or will I have to buy another battery pack thing? Do I just hook it up like the #2019 is using channel 1 &2 and batt? Do I need some kind of crystal for the #6518? Thanks for your help guys, I hope this will work because I don't want to have to return it.

Would it be best if I got the RX pack for both the transmitter and the receiver or just the receiver? Which specific RX pack would be good? What about a charger for the RX pack?
