Traxxas Revo Nitro 2.5 driveshaft boots

I'm replacing all my dust boots on my Revo nitro 2.5, what holds the boots on to the drive shafts and or half shafts? Thought I seen something mentioned about gluing in place, isn't that a little too permanent? I'm leaning towards using small zip ties? Any suggestions greatly appreciated

If they're the same as the E-Max, then they are glued in place. I've got a new set for mine for a winter project.

What glue did you get, the tire glue?

Yes, I'll be using cyanoacrylate (Super Glue).
