What does everyone think of the NEWLEY out TRAXXAS Nitro SLASH.... With Christmas coming up my parents already are asking me what I would like & putting on my list for Christmas Other than a Playstation-4 I am thinking of asking for a Nitro SLASH.... I Already have a 4x4 Pro SLAYER with the 3.3 in it I got for my Birthday back in APRIL of this year & I love the Rig... Thanks guys any info would help... MY Bashing buddy said it's just a SLASH but with a Nitro engine on it....

I ran one at the track last weekend and was not impressed. Maybe I’m just too accustom to 1/8th buggy truggys and MT’s but the (stock) Nitro slash handled like a dump truck with a full load to me. Very tough to handle being just 2WD, unless you like doing doughnuts.

I'm a big traxxas fan for bashing and I also own a slayer pro. I tried my hand with a buddies nitro slash and have to agree with snook man. Beings you are already accustomed to the slayer, the 2wd nitro slash will be caveman to you I think. Just my opinion. Beings you have a ST already and it's a Xmas list, shoot for a maxx or revo. Really great bashing rig if you are wanting to stay traxxas. If you're wanting to step the game up, 1/8 scale buggies are the next level. It's hard for me to go "back" to the rest rest now.

Lots of power and two lil tires to try and hook it up. If that sounds like fun; go for it. If not, get something else.

Thanks guys I value the input...UMMMMMMM now I am undecided I thought the SLASH NITRO would be a pretty cool Rig to own...... I might scratch off the SLAYER NITRO off my list & add the Playstation-4...Snookman &jsmith thanks for the info.......
Billy...... I value your point too But I am on the Fence now with this RIG I want to be sure I will enjoy driving it & not sure it's worth it now UMMMMMMM

Slashes are good bashers but not good racers. If you dont race then you could go that route but the Losi Ten SCT is only $16 more and the Associated SC10GT is $33 less. Losi and Associated are much better brands IMO especially if you race.
