Back in the day of my full prep drag racing at the San Antonio track, VP sponsored World Finals by supplying a 55gal drum of traction compound.

As part of the deal all competitors were required to run VP stickers on their car's bodies. Running electric, yeah I ran VP decals. Often there are unusual requirements for contingency or event participation. This was one of those unusual requirements.

Perhaps RC Chili Bowl had a similar contingency or event participation requirement? -AC

Looks like a Shark latemodel body. Probably on a Slash. We had 4 classes at my local oval track and all were Slash based. It’s a really popular oval platform besides all the high end custom chassis classes.

Looks like I was wrong! My buddies are blasting me with the news right now lol. I guess it IS a new Traxxas release. Body definitely looks very similar to a Shark UFO though.

at the end of the day , its either going to be a "rebranded" slash chassis, or trashxx has copied another manufacture and is in the process of filing a patent lawsuit to run the og maker out of business

I'm not dirtying the glorious g body, actually the contrary, dirtying the current nascar bs LOL i would love to bring actual racing back ! with the actual race cars, and not this safer bs, make race car drivers men again !!! lol it took grit and nerves of steel to go 500miles in an old g body !!!

Not wanting to stray too far off topic but same applies to IndyCar. Hard to find a racing series that is not watered down to business model conservatism averse to risk taking in any way, shape or form. -AC
