Do these upgraded shocks still use the snap on bottom cap? Ridiculous to think these would stay on. Seems it doesn't compress the seals against the rod. Bought some cheapy China ones that seemed actually decent once I installed a small guide spacer between lower o ring seals and closed a piston hole with CA glue. But aluminum must be soft, hollow balls are getting loose after a short time. Looking for a somewhat reliable shock. Knowing they pretty much all leak. Just seems like$$$ for shocks tat don't screw together, just snap. 7061x looks like complete, not just bodies. Plastic upper and lower caps? Any help is always appreciated.
