You can use any type of fuel you want, as long as it's meant for RC cars/trucks. There are people who use Traxxas brand, but many will tell you that it can make tuning your motor a nightmare and I tend to agree with them.

Trinity Monster Horsepopwer or Byrons. Buy either of the 2 and save youself tons of headaches. Traxxas has WAY too much oil and is a tuning nightmare. Not to include that Traxxas doesn't produce near the power of other fuels that i've used. JMO.

I have a traxxas revo and it won't run on that fuel. When I had my nitro sprot and my t-maxx neither one of them would run on it either.I don't recommend that fuel.If you want your truck to run good.

Traxxas fuel imo is junk. I much prefer Odonnel, or Trinity Monster, with OdOnnell being my first choice. But to answer your question, yes, you can use it if you want to.

I've never had a direct problem from using Trx fuel, but I noticed a pretty big difference running Odonnel's. It was really noticeable at idle and low end. Really smoothed things out. Started a tad easier, too. Not much of a power gain, but my engine's pretty much worn out. Can't polish a turd! And the kicker is that Odonnel's is cheaper at the lhs. Win-Win situation.

Crap, no wonder i am having such a hard time tuing my New Savage. My Landslide runs pretty good on Traxxas, i will switch when i run out.

thats just great :angry: I have 2 gallons of traxxas fuel that are at about 3/4 full each.. My first nitros and I'm using old traxxas fuel... No wonder I can't get them tuned....Guess I can't completly blame tha fuel...;)
