Traxxas Digital Servos

Can i run the traxxas digital servos with my revo? I know some of the new traxxas models come with them installed but some also come with the new radio system. I am running the old AM system on my truck right now.

Should be able to. I'd only suggest that you run a rechargeable 6V receiver pack. Digital's like more current flow than a alkaline pack can provide.

Thanks. I was looking at the waterproof units for winter and figure i might as well get something stronger and faster at the same time.

What benefits do digital servos provide exactly?

They have better holding power than a non-digital that is of the same torque rating. I think their response time is better too, which is more useful to a racer than a basher like me. They also have other tweaks and whatnot that you can do to the servo directly if you have a servo programmer I believe. I remember reading about it a while back (years...).
