Traxxas bigfoot/skully/craniac battery upgrade.

Anyone know a good battery upgrade that I can get for my truck. I kinda want try getting a bit more speed, and yes I need to get a wheelie bar still. I still have the stock esc as well.

A 2s lipo (be sure to enable lipo low voltage cutoff), or a 8.4v nimh battery. Add the option pinion. Just watch your temps if in grass or rougher terrain. You can look up optional gearing ratios by swapping spur/pinion combos also as well as different size tires which change the final drive ratio.

I agree with @marauder. Putting in a LiPo battery and optional pinion will certainly wake it up. Also as he's already mentioned, be sure to enable the low voltage cutoff. You don't want a LiPo battery accident!
