got a chance to pick up an old traxxas 2wheel drive stadium truck for $50.00 bucks it runs but needs lots of work. i am a monster truck guy and have no spare parts for it. what do ya think on a scale of 1to10 maybe a 4 just lookin at it

Is it a Nitro Sport? Rustler? IMO they are cool but they do not hold up to the abuse of a 1/8 MT or a Buggy.

That's what I paid for my Nitro Sport and about the same condition. The only way I would recommend it is if you only have a little to spend at time and like fixing things. By the time I got mine to a semi-dependable ride, I had about what a new one would cost in it.
But on the other hand there were good lessons learned inexpensively with it and I still have it and run it.

Overall, I would say Yes, it was worth it. In fact I am now doing the same thing with a T-Maxx.

I personally wouldnt buy it. If you have to stick alot of money into it, I would definatly pass. I'm strictly a basher and I find 2wd stadium trucks EXTREMEMLY boring. You might feel the same way. Plus if you do decide to buy it and stick a bunch of money into it, them things dont hold there value to well no matter what shape there in..
