from what i have seen and read about them thats exaclty what traxxas was going for

They are supposed to also have a Mustang based on the same chassis that is going to be released soon.

Other than the brushless system, wheels, and 2.4ghz radio, are there other differences between the ken block version and the regular fiesta version?

I'm not sure Traxxas every had a non VXL version of the Rally car so the only difference would be the body, green bits and wheels with slick tires. As of right now at Tower for club members, it's an $18 up tick for the cooler body and green bits of the Ken Block version.

Amain carries the non-vxl version. I checked the traxxas site for specs but didn't see it listed.

This is what should be done with all wall chargers.

I will be taking out the receiver and selling the Traxxas 2.4 setup this weekend along with the included NiMh batt pack.

The rc industry needs to wise up about the wall chargers. Wonder how many sales are lost because people are told that they need to charge the battery over night... Or buy the over priced charger that the lhs is pushing... Congrats on the new purchase!

Yes they are.

About 2.5" in diameter with a 12mm hex.

They actually had a stock racing class for them last weekend at the new om road track. They were a blast. Since they were all stock, it was driver skill that won the race.
