Transmitter/Receiver

I wouldn't advise you spend anywhere near that kinda money on a transmitter without an lcd screen with the Flysky GT3B out there for the same money. Hands down, the best budget radio around.

And if your car has a dedicated ESC, separate from the receiver, then yes. You can simply swap a new radio in.

OP, what @WickedFog said above ☝️

I'd also like to note, Dumbo and Radiolink radio systems are famously known for cheap build quality and have hardware issues with poor range and signal drop. (Coming from a person that used those cheap radios and tried to help them fix their faults) (If you want to learn more about their faults, look at this thread here: https://www.rctalk.com/forum/threads/new-radio-radiolink-rc8x.138874/ )

On a budget transmitter system, GT3B is the best for the money. If you'd like to spend a bit more, Flysky GT5, Radiomaster MT12 and Futaba 3PV are my top recommendations. The Flysky NB4 is a well known and loved radio here and you can find them cheap on AliExpress for a decent price. I personally have a NB4 for my race stuff and a 3PV for my bashers and I love em. Huge step up from faulty dumbo and radiolink systems.

I'd also like to add to wicked's comment about the esc. If stock is a standalone esc, you can drop the new Rx/tx combo right in. If it's a 2in1 esc and receiver combined you would also need a new esc, unless the protocol is listed, the radiomaster mt12 can bind up to it with the 4in1 module if listed and if it matches the protocols on the radiomaster.

Yeah, everything in my car is separate. I did make sure of that and yea i was looking at the GT3B and had it in my cart. Honestly, I took it out because I thought it would be doody since it looks like it should cost a lot more. I re-added it though. Thanks for the info though, guys.
