hi i have 1.2 nimh 2800milamp and i have piranha charger and i would like to know the setting to charge my trans i know the settings for my receiver its 10.v and1.0 a and 3100 mlamp but what i dont understand in the book its says final in mah 1000 i thougt it was suppost to be higher thanmine at 2800 but its not i dont know the reason if anyone could help me to do it right it would be appreciated thanks

I apologize if I've misunderstood, but the total lack of punctuation threw me. I assume you mean that you're using 1.2v NIMh batteries in your transmitter. And they are rated at 2800 mAh. If that is so, you'll want to charge them at around 2.5 amps. Any higher and you'll cook them. You might (MIGHT) be able to get away with charging at 3 amps but I'd try 2.5 amps first.

To a certain point, Lower and slower is best.
You will be fine up to 2.5 as mentioned above.

When your bats heat up this means you are loosing power out of the bats. You should charge them at a rate that causes minimal heat. Heat is bad. Cool is good.
