On my new (to me, it's realy used) T-maxx, I received it form the seller with the linkage from the gear shift servo not hooked up to anything. I can't make out hardly anything with the diagrams, but it looks as though it's supposed to connect to the transmission through a hole on the side closest to that servo. Instead, there is a rather large screw in that hole, and the linkage is just flopping about.
I'm gonna attach two pictures that kinda show what I'm talking about. Sorry for the bad quality, they were with my cell. I plan to take some better ones with a real camera first thing in the morning.
So am I just missing something? Is the ability to shift disabled for some reason, and if so, why? Does this mean there was a problem with shifting, or could it just be that someone wanted it disabled, and reenabling it is as simple as replacing a part. I've looked, but haven't found much info on this. (And as you can tell, I don't know how this part of the car works very well yet)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
