Track Time

I'ts that time of year! I want to build another track. I have had a few tracks but I flattened them all. Dose anyone have any segestions on a new track. Everything is possible. I like overandunders!!!!!!!!!!

I can talk all day and night about track design. What do you want in your next track? Fast? Technical? A little bit of both? Focus on momentum? Focus on power? Focus on handling? A little bit of everything?

Curious, How does one 'build tracks'?
Do you folk own hectares of farmland and personal bulldozers?

As a matter of fact I do. I also have 50 acers, a 2km motocross track, three paintball courses, 60 horses(and many other farm animals) used to have half dozen r/c tracks, 2 bulldozer, 2 tracter, 1 excavator, 2 four wheelers, 23 dirt bikes........................... want me to keep going????????????????? (my dad owns a sawmill and a forest spacing company)

A little bit of everything! what do u think about over and unders?

like a passover (bridge), or a crossover jump? I think either are cool, but you would just want to be mindful of the blind spot a bridge creates. I don't have a personal issue with bridges because they add another dimension to the race line. You have to set yourself for it because you won't be able to see your car for a split second. But there are a lot of people out there that whine and cry over stuff like that. If you're building it for your own personal use, I say go for it. If it's for a club, I'd think better of it.

How high should the drivers stand be? My max hight is about 100 feet!

I dunno... 8' maybe? Most tracks I've seen were high enough to walk under easily.

I've seen some that are only 4-5 feet off of the ground, but 6-8 feet seems to be the norm as far as I've seen

My track is going to be REALLY big!!! The furthest away my car will be is around 150-200 feet away!!! Is 8 feet high enough for that distance???????

I would say no.

I would say 8 - 10 feet in the air would be high enough to see that distance without losing your rigs behind the jumps. I would keep any BIG jumps closer to the drivers stand, that should keep them out of the view of the rest of the track.

My father payed 35,000 dollers for one of our stallions. If I shot him (or his "babys" that would not be very "healthy" for me. Thats why I have the paintball fields. I used to have a bissness(typo,typo,typo) so i played alot.::

Change of plans. My father want's me to build on the most poopy piece of land he owns. I started to build today but got to dark and have to go to Reserves(military stuff)
It's going to be sick!!!!!!
