I'm in manitoba and this weekend its supposed to be about +1 degrees celcius, is that too cold to break in my x4.6?

Yes, it is too cold. You should wait until it gets around 15 celsius before you try to break it in. Nitros can be run in cold weather, but breaking them in is a bad idea.

If the engine head is wrapped well so you maintain a good operating temp, sure you can run it in Antarctica. However, plastic parts get brittle in cold weather and will tend to break more easily. I found this out the hard way :)
