ok i figured i bring this back up. i just caught the rerun tonite. while i have to say i HATE the car. you have to admit they did exactly what the owner wanted. it may not be what any of us here like, and we would certainly make fun of it if seen on the street. but the owner didnt seem to be that knowledgeable about his car either and they built it in a way that he liked. oh well, it is "pimp my ride" not "build my disgustingly fast and tasteful drifter"

Yeah, I agree, the owner DEFINITELY got exactly what he wanted. In past episodes you could tell if the owner didn't like certain things.

The only things that really bother me is the poorly installed 5 point harness that can be a safety issue, and the fact that they didn't fix the motors on the pop up headlights. I mean, the headlights isnt' that big of a deal, but if you're gonna install something as important as the replacement for the seatbelt, do it right for crying out loud.

you know they
NEVER
do anything to the engine on pimp my ride..... why?

because they dont actually have skill modding cars... they look in books see the rice and copy it... kinda sad really

Not true I have seen more than half of the episodes where they replace the engine.

The next one will be cool. I think they are going to trick the owner showing they didn't "Pimp It" I think they are going to give them a new car like the Scion episode.

Yeah, Isn't it supposed to be installed on the bar?

Also I've seen two episodes where they changed the motor, One was the CRX that that OHHH WEEE! Guy had, Hahaha, Funny one.

And yah i agree, The next Pimp my Ride will be pretty tight, I think I know what he got. One lucky guy. I like the old one though. Looks really muscle carish. Too bad they couldnt fix it. Just keep it simple. But it would look extremely bad with 22's on it. I'd have alot of idea's for the fairlane ;)

Later dudes.
