Tmaxx question

Id keep the choices with Revo or a Savage. Tmaxx's are allright, but dont hold a candle to the revo or the savage and since the revo came out, it outdated the Tmaxx VERY fast. Id try your Psp on ebay. With all that you should get a good price then youd have a good chunk of change to buy one. Keep your eye open in here also (I dont think ya can trade yet with the rules) but ya can still pick up a nice used one too. I'm not sure if Zandor sold his Savage yet, but I know thats a nice truck.

Ok guys found this one person to trade with. Tell me if truck is good. I can trade my psp for equal value.

-DuraTrax Bumper Set F/R Silver ($25.99)
-RcRaven Springs 20% Silver ($9.99)

-Traxxas Aluminum Caps Pivot Ball Blue ($8.99)
- Robinson Racing Dbl Disc Slipper Kit ($24.99)
-Traxxas Forward Only Shaft & Gear ($9.99)
-T-Maxx E-Maxx 250 Piece Blue Screw kit ($25.99)

All of these upgrades are installed on the t-maxx. The truck is 2wd right now but will include everything to turn it back to 4wd. I run this truck with 20% traxxas top fuel (about 5 gallons through the engine). The only problem with this truck is that it does not shift into the 2nd gear. I checked the transmition and there are no stripper or worn gears in it also nothing lose, I think engine high-speed mixture setting need to be adjusted to make it shift. Also the fuel tank cap is broken but it close's and the truck runs fine with it.
$280

No racing and neither would i be bashing. More of a father and son thing. JAJA. I would be more like taking it off road into mud but not bashing unless the old lady next door makes me mad.LOL!

Good deal for tmaxx or not?

id personally keep the psp "or less you want to give it to me" and look for a savage or revo, it would probally be a less headache for you. and save you more cash. just my 2 cents.

DONT get a Tmaxx. The psp and all the other stuff ya have, I wouldnt imagine you having a problem getting $350-$400 for on ebay. So why would you waste your time looking at a Tmaxx? You just asked about a Tmaxx that was fully hopped up and saw that it would be lucky to get $250 for it (Which I thought was more than what it was worth). Either get a REVO or a SAVAGE. (Id go for the savage, easier to tune IMO). If ya want a Tmaxx, I would suggest selling your Psp and all the goodies on ebay, and then take some money out of what ya get for all the stuff and get the maxx. That way youd have some money left over to spend trying to get it to compete with Revo's and Savages..lol..Again, No to the Tmaxx.

Yeah, dont waste your time with a maxx, unless it is solid HCR or RCS stuff and you can get it for like $20.. lol Stick with a Revo or Savage. There are lots of people selling both of those on ebay and sometimes on here. If you find one on ebay you think you like, post the link here so we can help ya check it out.

Ok guys. Tmaxx out of mind. Going to look for Revo.

Is there a reason why you want to stick with Traxxas? Granted the revo is a good rig, but there has been more people suggesting the Savage and think it would suit your needs better, but ya keep coming back to traxxas. So far I read 3 different people say the 2.5r is a finicky mill to tune, and that you would be better off tuning the savage mill. I guess I was just curious why ya kinda seemed to rule out the savage. IMO The Savage is HANDS DOWN the best MT you can buy and I'm sure theres alot of people that will agree with me. But again, its your rig, and your choice. I was just curious.

I totaly agree, The T-maxx is a money pit and you can't get much for them even after you have dumped a ton of money into them. I know from exsperiance. I have had only heard good things about the Savy I personaly will be getting one when I have the cash :)

Second truck i have been wanting since forever. I'm looking in different places for the savage or revo for trades. jeje

If i sell psp for 380 on ebay. What should i look for in a savage or revo?

If ya get the $380, Id save up and just get a new Savage (Or Revo). Then you know what kind of shape its in, and theres nothing better than owning a BRAND NEW truck. Tower has the Savage 25 for $420 right now and the Revo for $480, so your getting close. ::Cough Cough::Get the Savage::Cough Cough::

Hey, i was wondering what the best way of making my T-Maxx faster... I went to a hobby shop and he told me that it was tuned pipes... but I wasn't sure if he was telling the truth because i was looking at a much less expensive part before that... and the pipe was about 2 times the price... Any suggestions???

Look at the date of this thread! Just make a new thread.

FOC and regear. cheapest and best bang for your buck. Next would be an OS 18TM and then a decent pipe.
