TMaxx or Savage?

I'm considering buying an MT 'cause my SNR can't take much bashing. I'm just wondering which one is better stock and why? The reason being is that I don't want to have to upgrade a bunch of things right away (it'll happen eventually though). The guy at my LHS says the TMaxx is better but didn't say why. Just curious 'cause I'm fairly new to RC.

Everyone has there opinion on this subject. I have both and like both. While my T-maxx if totally upgraded and my Savage is mostly stock, the new 2.5 T-Maxx's rock right out of the box. They both have a comparable price. They both are user friendly in their own way and non-user friendly in other ways. Get the one that you like the most. Another thing to consider would be which one would be easier to buy replacement parts as you break them? Where or who could help you fix it if you ran into some technical problems that needed on site expertise. Answer those and make you decision. Either way you'll probably be happy with whichever one you choose.
