Tmaxx conversion

Hello guys I am thinking about converting my tmaxx to elec. whats the best engine,exc. combo for that project?I know nothing about elec and I don't want to buy junk

Well, you have a lot of things to consider when converting. Kershaw designs has really nice mounts and such. I really like the Castle Mamba Max pro setups. They are not currently waterproof but can be done easily. Probably somewhere in the 3000 kv range should be fine. keep in mind that you will need a good set of lipo batteries and a good charger to match.

Actually a better choice for the Castle ESC would be the Mamba Monster. That is what Traxxas uses on their Brushless Editions. I don't think that the Mamba Max puts out enough juice to haul around a heavy rig like the Maxx.

I just herd of a mamba monster 2 esc. Its supposed to be water proof.

I saw the MM2 a couple of days ago and the box says that it is waterproof.

I may get it after i complete one of my many rc projects. Just can't seem to focus lol.
I worry way to much when i run my emaxx. It kinda takes the fun out it.
