hi i new here just a quick question for you guys this friday I'm buying either a tmaxx3.3 or a revo 3.3 just for playing no racing just wondering witch one is easier to work on

They are about the same to work on in my opinion. Certain things about each are easier to work on but they both have their difficulties as well.

What kind of bashing are you going to be doing? Neither of those trucks are going to be super tough bashers out of the box and both will require a few upgrades so keep that in mind. You may also want to look into some of the HPI savage trucks if you are just bashing they are tougher out of the box and are setup to accept a big block engine when you get the craving for more power.

no i have a hpi firestorm already want to try something traxxas and i like the look of the tmaxx looks like a real monster truck I'm not going to bash too hard some people are just way too ruff with there rc they think they wont break there is no rc or real trucks that will take too much abuse its just common sense

I'd say go with the Revo 3.3. It was my first nitro and was a lot of fun even before upgrades.

just buy both haha
if it were me i'd say the revo if you like being able to adjust alot more settings and it hadles the bumps a bit better and you can put a big block in it if you so desire
if your after something a bit more cheaper but just as good get the t maxx, heaps of hop ups and if it does break, parts are cheap as chips

if you want a boat anchor buy a savage they handle about the same:p:
lol jks

I have both a revo 3.3 and a maxx 3.3 also a maxx 2.5 but I will leave it out of this discussion. IMO the revo is more for speed and maxx a better basher but I don't try to kill my trucks so my revo could prolly take more than I give it. I am currently stripping my revo to put a BB in it and custom build it because I feel I have just as much with the Maxx. Working on :\ like mentioned before they are both simple and have their own quirks.

thanks alot for a the feedback i am going to buy the tmaxx this friday and can you buy a hump pack instead of using 4 double a batteries as i think would make the servos work better

To the op , the 4907 maxx comes with a hump pack and charger even think it come with a 7.2v battery for the ez start

I use to have both. I still have the Revo. The Tmaxx is stronger than the Revo. The Revo is more agile and handles better. Stuff breaks on the Revo and you don't really have to abuse it to break it. You will be happy with the Tmaxx. The Revo is not worth the $$$ they want for it.

I have had 3-4 T-Maxxs and a couple Revos. Out of the box the Revo is a better truck IMO. The Maxx is easier to work on but there are some keysuper weak points like the bulkheads that need to be beefier.

I am going to go with joshman1204 on this the Savage XL is a way better Rig wish I owned one myself... But I do own a T-maxx witch I love the RIG I'd Go with the T-MAXX over the REVO... REVOs are good Rig's as well but I think thay sit alittle too low to the Ground for my taste...
