I have had my Tmaxx 2.5r in Storage for two years. I just pulled it out two weeeks ago, the engine would not turn over, cleaned the engine out not it moves freely, replaced glow plug, batteries, new fuel, and just received a new cooling head, installed it, the old one was stripped out. I got it running for about 1 min and it jerked forwad about an inch, but it would not move after that, then It died and I tried to get it started again but it will not start, what could be the problem with it?????

Thank you for your assistance.

Tony

I would look at the clutch. It sounds like the spring might be broken.

ok I took apart the clut and it looks fine. what else coule it be. I am replacing the fuel line now.

Check slipper clutch tension also after sitting up that long you need to seal that engine(backplate, exhaust ring seal, carb boot and seal) check the thread in nitro RC talk on sealing engines and check that glow plug one more time or put another new one in it. Make sure there isn't any trash in bottom of tank. Then after all is done revert to the tuning chart in same forum as sealing. Hope this helps and good luck.
