I found a lot of sites that I know of that carry RB ENGINES do not carry the TM 928. I only know of 2 or 3 sites that carry RB stuff though. Anyone know where to get the TM928?

although i would recommend the 8-port novarossi .28 done by EBmods. you can buy it at the same place.

I need a non p/s engine so i can't do the nova. However i can do the tm 928 eb modded. What exactlly is EB MODED?

VB is correct, the nova is available in non-ps as well. and EBmods is a very good engine modifier whos 528 nova's are tearing up the unlimited MT class on the pro circuit right now.

www.ebmods.com if you want to talk to him i belive his number is listed. Ed is a VERY knowledgable and approachable guy. I've had the pleasure of discussing tuning and modification with him in person and when I'm ready for a mod motor, there will only be one option for me. being a machinist myself, i see the method to his madness and the proven repeatablity versus some modifiers who use a rotary tool and cut till it looks right. he is also a novarossi dealer so any replacement parts or stock engines can be purchased directly from him as well.

What exactly does he do that makes him soo special?
What are the effects?

I think I'm going to get the ROSSI, but i have heard its a top end engine, and i know RB's are bottom end.

ed builds his engines to run 30, thats all i would run. also, your prefered premium fuel with 12-8% oil will be fine. if you want specifics, please call Ed, he can explain better than i ever could. a 30 minute conversation with him is worth 2 years of online research.

what does he do to "make them" run 30%....asking cause I'm finding the weak spot that takes the abuse from 30% is the lower bushing in conrods......they seem to wallow out faster w/ 30%.....I've been running 25% for a few gallons now and am getting awsome results and everything seems to last a lot longer.......

proper shimming and possibly some of the porting. if you ever talk to any of the boat guys they run upwards of 70-80% nitro, and they change everything to handle it. i can't get into specifics of what he does becuase i dont know, if i did, id be doing it myself. i do know that his engines make awsome power, they are reliable, and he checks his processes with a dyno.
