Hi guys,
I plan to buy Duratrax Axis. Please, can you give me some tips where and whih tires I can buy?
I plan to go on follow surfaces: grar, tree road, dirt and on-road.

From every surface I will need one set of tyres with foam inserts.
Car I will buy from tower hobbies, can you give me tips. You have pactice with this car and tires.
Thanks a lot.

Sorry but the Duratrax Axis you xan only use there rims and tires because they chose to go against the grade and not follow the universal 17mm hub, the use 19mm so your only choices are DuraTraxx.

Thanks for answer, the site looks very good :o) And proline have got in Czech republic dealers :o)))

Hi, I read you thread abou axis. I know abou this. This si bad. Do you have any idea how to upgrade down to 17mm?
New hex adapters from anoother car?
Axis I have not in this moment, but this thing can give success, isn't true?

But, id I will use Duratrax disks, is possibe to buy and use for example pro-line tires on duratrax disks? Did you try it?

If you still havent bought the Axis and you can afford another buggy that uses standard parts I would look into.

I really dunno about stretching the tires or if they are a good fit or not.

I do not understand, my english is not so good.
Axis I not have in this moment, I am preparing to buy it.
But 5 from 10 people are giving me response, that Axis si not good, axis have bad manufacturing quality and bad accuracy.
I never seen this buggy. for this reason I can not make relevant feeling.
But Axis' price and a lot of metalic parts says me, that it can not be bad.
I am not racer. I am racing with frends ot alone on common places.
Is buying og Axis good investment for non racing enjoy?
I have chance to modify hex adapters on machines (cutter), then I will be able to use for examle pro-line disks.
Can you tell me you feeling about axis? I do not want to buy car whis will have more probles than enjoy.

What other buggies can you buy there instead of an axis?

Ofna,GS,Kyosho,Mugen?????

What other brands are available to you instead of duratrax?

If you are able to buy from Tower, I would look into something else than the Axis, I know that the cost is expensive to you over there, but you really wont be happy buying a cheap buggy, If you have the extra money, try and find something better than the axis.

When I am buying from tower hobbies, I have to pay $60 shipping + 22% taxation of VAT + 6,6% taxation on duty + $30 duty manipulation.
The Ofna (HoBao) hyper 7 I like, but here in my country it is too exponsive. I thinf about $925.
Now I already have 1:10 buggy with .15 pull starting engine.
I want 1:8 but I have not much money and I want new car not used car ie. from e-bay.
Graupner dealer here give me opportunint for HoBao (Graupner distribution) HOBAO PBS by $555. Details I do not know.

Do you have some tip for me? I can spent up to $500, but I have to spre for more time.

I know the metal is shiny on the Axis but do not judge it be appearance. Axis= not so good for racing. I would really look to something else if your intrest in buggies is to race.

Get the HoBao PBS or Hyper 7 PBS as it is called in our country, that is a much better model than the Axis.

I found the following:
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDUS7&P=7
Ii is without pull starter but with starter box. I sounds good.
Motor looks very good. Shock absorbers are metalic a breake is dual on both axes. But with radio system. Now I already have.
Do yu know a kit of buggy like this with out radio system?
I thinkg, it is unneeded price.

I am not racer,, but one reason whay I want to sell my 1:10 buggy is that is not possible to go to race with it because this category is not supported here.
1:8 buggy category is supporeted and go to race can be challenge for me.

Whre are you from?
