yea i have been kinda crazy about this one sorry. and have been going though step by step with your input. Thanks a lot i just hope that this will fix it.

Lube won't make a diff work or not work. It's either broke or it isn't. A lack of lube will lead to early failure though. If your sure it's something in the rear end, it can only be the gears in the tranny that send power to the rear end, the diff, or a problem with a shaft. All that's left then is the wheel hex and hex pin. A hex on one of the rear wheels may be stripped too.

OK either way what ever i was hearing in the rear end before i took it apart and did what i did is gone. Maybe something was out of place or loose or something i don't know but it is not grinding now.

yea no kidding TIME FOR TEST RUN will update in a few:D

OK it was great for about five ten mins straight running time was running great thought i had it fixed but seamed a little more jumpy off the line. Then seam like it started running the same as before started getting loud grinding and seamed like did not want to move. Don't know if it is possible but almost seams like the motor is pushing to much power to the rear wheels without the front cva.

my little rush evo was doing the SAME thing. i had a guy check it out at a hobby store and he said check the gears. nothing wrong with them. then i took apart the diff, and they didnt LOOK bad. i changed them out anyway and got it back together and it was running awesome! till one of my diff couplings snapped. found out i had a bent dog bone that jammed between the coupling groove and broke one side off.

anyway give it a try might work for you.

Alright i will try that.. I think i am going to put the new cva in the front end and see what happens first going to get that tomorrow so we will see and i will ask them about it to and see what they say.

Well went to the HS this morning and picked up some goodies for the monster. I picked up the new cva for the front end, a new body, and a few odds and ends. Some time to put the new parts on and try er out hope it fix the problem i have been have.

I am at a lost once again I put the front cva in and now it seams like the front tires are turning one way and the rear the other...

You MAY have one of the differentials installed backwards. You took the rear diff. out right? Open the gearbox and turn the diff assembly around. . Do you not have a manual to refer to? If not, then download one. You need it!:hehe:
When I started in R/C 10 years ago I always had a manual handy, to this day i still do!

I just merged 4 or 5 threads on the same problem into one thread. It's much easier to give advise when we're able to follow the subject matter step by step.
In the future, keep the same problem in the same thread.

Good luck on the test run.

OK thanks rolex cad you delete the one i just put on here please thought:D:D:D:D:D you deleted the rest of them sorry i will stick around here for awhile

thanks to everybody that helped me the monster is back!!!!!!!!!!

Done deal.

Glad to hear we got you up and running.
That's what we do best.

Take it out, bash it and break something. We'll be waiting. :D

WELL......................I thought it was fixed but some thing still is not right in the rear end. The front is getting all the power? Looks like we might have to take it in or get new diff.:\ Oh yea and it dose not seam like it is shifting... Sounds like I have some fun on my hands.

Well it has came down to this i am going to oder the gears for the rear end. I am also thinking about maybe getting the gears to do the front end as well. Cause i have just the luck were i will do the rear then the front will go. I have it apart now so i am hoping to order the parts by the end of the week.
