at the track that i race we have to run our stock tires. the tires that came with my truck are realy hard and dont grip up well...anything i can do for this?

I would soak them in Simple Green and that will soften them up. If thats not as soft a you want you can soak them in WD40 but this will shorten the life of your tire but it will be super soft and stick like glue.

Simple Green I like WD40 like that too. But how do you all dry em of berfore ya run em? wipe em down real well or what? I used the WD40 for some stockers but I didint get to run them on the track before I sold my 2wd but I sprayed them down real well and zip locked em! When I took them out I wiped them down well they looked good but I could still see WD40 in the treads. Will this pick up crazy amounts of the dusty clay track? IF I want to try the Simple Green on some Calipers that stuff is not oil based and should dry when its taken out of the zip lock.

WD40 works ok on stock Traxxas rubber but it takes a while to soak in.

Seal them up in a ziplock bag and left them on roof of car parked in sun in between races.

brake fluid doesn't really soften rubber... otherwise you'll have issues with all the
rubber seals, hoses and diaphragms in your 1:1 brake hydraulic system

you can also try any other oil-based creams... like suntan lotion or anything
with eucalyptus oil (smells like Deep Heat though)
