Is there any tricks to doing a good job of gluing the tires ? I have never done buggy tires. I am having problems getting the tire to go all the way in the rim.

I'm too lazy to look for a tutorial, but there are many on the web.
Some key points.
Clean the wheel and tire so the bond will be good.
Test fit. If you can't get the bead to lock in, there's something amiss. What tires and rims?
Stuff the foam into the tire then slide them on the wheel.
Seat the bead.
Then roll the bead back and run thin tire glue around. Take your time and use just enough glue. When you let go of the bead, it will help push the glue around the bead.
Then strap the tire down by putting a thick rubber band or electrical tape tightly around the circumference of the tire and let them sit. That should give you a nice firm bond that won't let go with use.

Is it a molded foam, or just a regular uncut foam. The molded foams are shaped like tires and will have a notch that fits in the groove in the middle of an 8th scale wheel. Regular foams (squared edges) need to be trimmed to fit properly.
