The boiling does work. Although, i had to boil my maxx tires for about 15-20 before they loosened up real well. It sure beats sitting there with an exacto knife for an hour and having your hands cramp up.

well i glue in areas not the whole rim. then i pry it of with a screwdrive

:OMG: I wish I would have know this about 2 days ago,
Local hobby shop said to soak them in acetone and pry off, I not only ripped the nice new Masher tires but spilled pure acetone on my mr. happy:stupid: No permanent damage but THAT WAS COLD!!!! Wifey laughed till she cried :dumb:

Your fortunate you didn't have permanent damage. I knew a guy who took a wizz during a laquering session. He had mineral spirits i believe on his hands. He ended up in the hospital. Damn near burned the thing off.

Good googely moogely (or something)
Yeah I definetly have the fear of God ( and lost parts) in me now. She laughed untill till she told me to clean my F%#@ Den. (where my hobby pit is) . Needless to say I'm never working with liquids while in the seated position again, I swear I remeber that from chemistry lab!!!!!!!!
