does anyone know if the THS 1/8 off-road pipe is considered an "086" style pipe?

i am wondering becuase on the outside at least its shaping looks almost identical to a nova based 086 pipe. this is the pipe i run right now with my v-spec, although its dented/deformed to hell around the second chamber/stinger area.

Ehhh, i don't know about the 086 style.... but my brother bought this pipe... He kinda got ripped off. It wasn't that outstanding of a difference. I have never bought another pipe though, so i may be the wrong guy to answer, but he had the stock HB Lightning pipe b4 this and i didn't really notice THAT much of a difference. And his pipe was CRAPPY.

If you want strength in your pipe, especially around the stinger, Get the Jammin JP-2 HARDCOATED pipe... thats what I'm getting soon.... Alot of people told me to spend the extra 3-4 bucks and get hardcoated because they are stronger than polished....

I have the jp-2 and its a great pipe but I haven't really been able to put it to the test just yet. Its supposed to have the top end of a 086 but the grunt of a 063.
