Ok put the glow plug out of revo in the redcat volcano.
best that truck has ran yet, well for 5 min until throttle stopped.
the servo has stopped working, what can I replace it with that is cheap?
guy supposed to buy it Thursday so I need it goin.

take the servo cap off and see if the gears are stripped and you may be able to get a servo rebuild kit if not you will have to get a new servo check the reciever and all to tho

The servo doesn't even try to work, if you play with it it will move a few times then stop.
how can I check receiver, the steering stills works fine.

This is reason I am sellin this truck. Since it was new I have yet to get to finish one full tank without it breaking some how.

You'll just have to run down to your LHS and see what the cheapest throttle servo is that they sell if you have to have it by thursday. Otherwise you can get any number of cheap stock servos from RTR kits from ebay. It can be from any kit. The Losi ones are decent and can usually be had real cheap.

Thanks. Talked the guy into waiting. Going to order one from ebay.
Closest lhs that stocks ground rc is a 115 mile round trip and that is like $30-40 in gas.

Was wandering if any one would work and you answered that for me so thanks

you can unplug your steering servo on rx and plug in the throttle servo and see if it turns when you turn the steering wheel.that wil tell you wich one is bad.

EXTREME1- thanks, don't know why I didn't think of that.

Taylor17- where you from?

Well took the truck apart. Them idiots at redcat run the servo wires out the bottom of the electric box and between it and the chassis. And of course that rubbed wires and pinched them and shorted out the servo. Way to go genius at redcat.
