The throttle servo oscilates for not reason and then goes to full open position. there are no digital signals in the area that I know of and this is the only only happens with one of my vehicles. I use all my vehicles at the same location and they don't seem do this oscilation.

I use batteries and when this problem started replaced the batteries with new batteries and the problem still continued. I have other Rc that use the same remote and servos and this problem was discovered during the break in stage and almost burnt out the engine. It was running nice and smooth and then all of a sudden it started oscilating and went to full throttle. I think you are rigth though, I think the servo is bad. I am going to pick up new servos and replace both the steering servo and the throttle servo. because they were both making strange noises when they are in the neutural position. I worked with servos for more that 50years and never heard a servo make noises unless they were defective.

Thanks for your advice.

I have the same problem, My transmiter battery's were low so i replaced them and the receiver ones and now the Throttle servo is acting like it has interferance, but not the steering. it only started after i replaced the battery's, any ideas , never had this happen before?

Edit: And it's a nitro and only does it when the motor is running.

Check all RX wires sometimes thay jar loose with alot of jumping & your system my not be properly setup / binded.. Make shure batteries are fresh & if you have a tester check all of the batteries.. One time I had a LOW Cell on 1 of my AA's & it made my servo "TWITCH" I installed a RX rechargeable hump pack problem solved...

I currently have a similar problem. After 2 months of sitting, I charged my hump pack and put fresh AA's in the TX. The throttle servo will open and hold until about half travel, any further opening and the servo will "give up" that is it closes throttle and a split second later tries to resume the throttle position. The servo worked fine 2 months ago before I benched my rig. Is the servo bad? Has anyone heard of servos dying after being benched awhile and then put back into use?
