HPI Baja 5b

If my Baja 5b receiver loses the signal from the transmitter the throttle server goes crazy, the front tires wiggle back and forth and the throttle goes full bore creating a dangerous situation.

Looking for help on how to correct this problem.

Thanks

Pop the lid on the radio box open and see if any wires are pinched or loose. Maybe the antenna got pinched somewhere?

I should mention that my steering servo also is doing the jitter bug as well.

If I turn off my transmitter, the fail safe lite goes on, and everything goes hay wire.

Sounds like your seeing INterferance on the Freqency your useing. the blue dial on the HPI Rx is a sensitivity adjustment i believe for the failsafe, maybe turn the sensitivity up. ie. clockwise i think it would be.

if your not seeing issues when the TX is on. then you should be ok, but you definatly want your Failsafe to engauge and stay engauged. if its tweeking when the TX is off, make sure the chrystals are seated well. also make sure all plugs are securly inplace. you may want to try a different frequency chip sets and work on a different frequency.

i had so many glitches that i ended up buying a 2.4 Ghz radio.
