Well, I finally got my servo back, just in time for this weekend's races too. I haven't yet had a chance to test it out, but I'm sure it's fine. They ended up replacing the servo motor and amp. It took about a month total from the time I sent it in. Overall, I'm just happy that I didn't have to pay anything to get it fixed. I just wished they would've replaced the whole servo instead...but o well...
that must get annoying, whenever you click onto a thread, ur computer starts saying every single thing, and in the wrong tone of voice most of the time.....
was it's digital or an electronic board then it's called an SCR (silicon controlled rectifier).....does the same thing but uses solid state A to D converter to give the signal voltage change...potentiometers are usually a mechanical resistance device.....
Leave it to a sparky to say you have bad pot.....
