hey guys ,i'm new to the nitro revo world and i am a true believer in forum help ! i have really been enjoying my new toy but i have been experiencing trouble at full throttle. Its like the power is being turned on and off -on and off . i picked it up and sat it on the stand and pulled full throttle and noticed the throttle servo is moving back and forth in a similar movement to the on \off problem when its running. but the throttle servo is not doing it when its not running with just servos on ? I was thinking maybe a little moisture in the servo ? I dont think it a carb problem cause i have leaned it out and richened it \changed batterys in car\new air filter\new glow plug . ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT !

Loose crystal or a bad crystal in the Rx.
Something somewhere is loose causing two metal parts to rub together, which will cause a glitch.
Is the servo trying to pull the carb too far open?
If so it will cause that condition.
A short in a wire somewhere...... check all that. Swap out a set of crystals if you have some.

thanx for the response, i just called traxxas customer serv. and he was very helpful and is sending out a new transmitter free of charge !!! can't beat that for service !!!! i'll also double check all that you said as well !thanx again!!

if the sevor is bad it will do that it will glitch like that. if there is alot of stress on the servo it will glitch like that to so u might have to readjust your sevro if u are maxing out in the carb slide then the servo is still trying to push and it is binding and making it glitch so see if that helps u

Yeah, I'd check all your connections to make sure they are good. Also, the throttle linkage on the revo is known to stick at about 2/3 throttle and not go any further. You might want to check yours with the engine off just to make sure the servo is in fact opening the carb all the way every time.

Hell yea it sticks.. when i put my .27 on, max throttle was only giving me 3/4 on the carb. after many hours of tweaking and using stiffer rods and angling the slide my answer was the TEKNO PRO THROTTLE for the Revo. It mounts the mixing arm farther away from the block intern giving it more leverage and also uses a seperate linkage for pulling the slide open instead of the V shaped groove. Awesome buy even for the stock 3.3 because it takes away any strain on the servo. the best 20.00 i ever spent

hey guys wanted to say thanx for all the help ,it turned out to be a bad servo ! my local hobbie shop gave me one ! thanx again !
