Okay, On my o.s. .18tm Revo the little throttle lever here is just long enough to fit into this here (in the bottom left of the pic)it works great but when every thing heats up and the plastic thing gets warm it has to much flex. It never bothered me till today when the throttle lever popped out.

I have tried to put washers under the pivot thing but the bearings just bind and it wont work. Or I dont tighten it down all the way and the pivot thing just wiggles. Has anyone else had this problem, What have you done to fix it thanks.

I had a similar issue, but it never popped out... I just noticed that it was barely in the slot on the pivot.

Which hole on the engine mount are you using? There are two. One is closer to the engine than the other. I used the one further away.

The outer one. I knew it didnt fit in there all that well and I never had a problem till after about an hour of running. Then it popped out.

Any idea's Olds?

Throttle Linkage

I Found With My Revo That Dry Grafite Spray On The Metal Throttle Arm Worked Well As A Dry Lube. Sraying The Dry Grafite On The Throttle Arm Then Drying With A Small Torch Or Lighter Will Help The Lube To Stay On The Arm For Months And Help From Causing Wear.I've Had Not Problems At All But I Did This Before I Moved My Revo.dry Grafite Is A Wicked Lube For Any Serfices You Dont Want To Attract Dirt. Used It Everywhere On My Honda Cr 250
It Was A Teck Tip In Dirt Rider Magazine, Heat Will Not Affect Dry Grafite.

Well... with the proper shims and a collared bushing to run a normal bolt through instead of a shoulder bolt, no. Sorry.

Actually, my NE BB kit comes with just such a collared bushing:

And NE sells just this as a throttle ball bearing upgrade kit!

Then you can put a washer or two under the collar and use a normal bolt. That would allow you to raise the throttle pivot and clear up your problem.

I don't know why OS didn't make their throttle arm longer... Mine barely sat in the groove. I fiddled with carb alignment and I believe I did put one washer below the shoulder bolt, but that only left a few threads to thread into the engine mount.

Had the Integy one, I ended up sawing through the throttle lever. Having an engine stuck in 50% throttle isnt cool. But I have an idea to stop that.

Thanks Olds I think I have somthing like that actually!

Muskeg, I already use dry graphite there, helps to slow the sawing action.
ps the CAP on every word makes it hard to read. Just to let you know.

Thanks.
